Thread Collective 4 Month Subscription

Home Ec. Workshop presents Thread Collective,  an embroidery subscription featuring Iowa City artists that debuted in September 2020. In March we began collaborating with local artists to create a 12 month embroidery experience that offers the subscriber a new and unique printed sampler each month.   Each month you will receive beautiful threads and/or embellishments chosen by the artist to accompany their printed sampler.  Subscriptions can still be purchased for 4 months!!  You can start the 4 month subscription anytime and it will begin the next month.  

The first sampler that you receive from Thread Collective 2020-2021 will also include the following embroidery swag... a printed drawstring bag, hoop, needles, 5 colors of thread and a printed sampler (of course!).  

The months following you will receive a new printed sampler by a different artist plus a fabulous new material that was chosen by the artist to accompany their sampler.

We also host a zoom meet-up where you learn a stitch or two, see what other members are working on and sometimes the artist who designed the sampler will come and hang out--so much fun!

This is a fun subscription for beginning embroiders and experts! The artwork is AMAZING and the samplers can be stitched minimally or stitched to your heart's desire and completely filled--either way it will look SO GOOD.  The final embroidery can be stretched over a frame to add to your art collection, made into a pillow, stitched onto the back of a jean jacket and one is even begging to be turned into an oversized brooch!
