Whether you're a beginner or an experienced quilter looking to refine your skills, this class is designed to guide you through the process of making a quilt from start to finish. During this class you will learn fundamental techniques including cutting, piecing, machine and/or hand quilting, and binding. We will be using the Giant Vintage Star Quilt pattern by Jeni Baker. You can choose between a throw size (68" x 68") or a baby size (36" x 36") . Each size features a single star block.
*you will need to work outside of class time to finish--the workshop and machines can be used outside of class meetings while enrolled in a class at Home Ec.
Supplies Needed: Fabric (front, back and binding) per pattern requirements. Amounts will differ depending on the size you choose batting, rotary cutter, quilting ruler (12"-18" at least) , curved safety pins, basic sewing kit (pins, marking pen, seam ripper, scissors, thread and a bobbin purchased at Home Ec if using our machines)).

Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes you register for but are unable to attend. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance of the first meeting to get a credit for another class. Otherwise, we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
