In this class Lilah will share the technique she used to design the quilt tops in her MFA exhibition. During this class you will learn how to use perler beads to design a quilt top. We will start off by choosing the colors for your designs & determining the placement of the blocks for the quilt top creating a mini mock up. We will then choose fabric corresponding with your design, cut the fabric down into squares & sew together our original quilt tops.
Supplies Needed: once your quilt top is designed with the provided perler beads you will need to purchase fabric & thread that matches your perler bead mock up. (no need to have fabric before class!). Basic Sewing kit (scissors, pins, thread, marking pen, seam ripper, bobbin purchased at home if using our machines), rotary cutter.

Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class.
