(This is a two-session class)

In this workshop, we will cover the basic stitches of crochet and learn to make an adorable mini candy basket. Hands-on techniques include how to hold the hook and yarn to maintain tension, make a slip knot, chaining, and creating single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches.  We will also cover how to fasten off and weave in ends. The first meeting will focus on learning how to do the basic stitches in rows. In the second meeting we will learn to crochet in the round, read a basic pattern, and make a small basket. Crocheting in the round is commonly used in The Woobles and Amigurumi, so you will leave this class with the basic skills to make many lovable things.

Supplies Needed

1 skein of Coastal Cotton (or any worsted weight yarn)

Crochet hook (4.5mm-5mm or US G or H) 

+ a handy stitch marker, if you have one!

You will receive 15% of all supplies purchased for class!

Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes you register for but are unable to attend. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance of the first meeting to get a credit for another class. Otherwise, we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
