Quilt Start to Finish: On the Straight and Narrow

Quilt Start To Finish
With Linzee McCray
Mondays, March 10, 24 AND April 7, 6pm-8:30pm
$125 + Supplies (pattern included)
Come learn to make Linzee's On the Straight and Narrow Quilt. This quilt uses bow-tie blocks, so popular in 1930’s-era quilts. While that expression means living a straight-ahead life, this quilt provides an opportunity to play with unexpected color combinations and block placement. During this class you will learn fundamental techniques of quilt piecing, machine or hand quilting, and gain confidence in creating a finished binding.
Finished quilt is 51" x 60"
*you will need to work outside of class time to finish--the workshop and machines can be used outside of class meetings while enrolled in a class at Home Ec.
Supplies Needed: one layer cake (or equivalent amount of fabric), 2.25 yard background fabric, 1/2 yard binding fabric, 3 1/3 yard backing fabric, batting, rotary cutter, ruler, curved safety pins, basic sewing kit (pins, marking pen, seam ripper, scissors, thread).
15% off all supplies purchased for class
