Learn how to knit these cute, chunky mittens to keep you, your family and friends warm all winter long! This is a great class for beginners looking to increase their skill set by learning to knit in the round, for those wanting to learn how to create a gusset thumb, or anyone who just wants to have a little camaraderie while working on a fun project! 

This sweet pattern, designed by Nifty Knittings, is perfect for last-minute gifts and comes in four sizes (two children’s sizes, one for teens, and one for adults—and could easily be adapted for larger hands).


Supplies Needed:  85 yards chunky weight yarn, two stitch markers, one locking stitch marker (or safety pin), a darning needle, scrap yarn.

Size US 9 knitting needles—or size needed to obtain gauge (this pattern can be knit on double pointed needles, on flexi flips, two short circular needles, or on one longer circular needle for magic loop method—it’s your choice).

A row counter is highly recommended for beginning knitters.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class. Otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
