This quilted pouch pattern is simple and fun, with no bias binding, finished edges inside, and only straight line sewing (no curved seams). This makes it perfect for beginners and those wanting to learn or practice simple quilting and zipper installation.
The Holland Pouch pattern has three size options, each of which only uses three fat quarters of fabric. Shop your stash or browse HomeEc's selection of fat quarters to find your perfect combination. If you're using a directional print for the interior or exterior, you may need a bit more fabric.
*Please come to class with your fabric cut to size to maximize time to work in class. If you don't plan on washing your pouch, you can leave your fabric unwashed. If you need help with cutting, feel free to stop in and use the workshop anytime a class is not in session and we are happy to guide you through cutting.

The pattern will need to be purchased from Center Street Quilts here. Three fat quarters of fabric* (or more if using a directional print), a zipper (zipper tape recommended; available at HomeEc), foam stabilizer (like Annie's soft and stable) or batting, a small amount of fusible interfacing, basting safety pins, and a basic sewing kit (Pins, scissors, seam ripper, thread and marking pen).

Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class. Otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
