This quilt is a fun way to play with color! The composition is easy and sewing is quick, so it allows for more time to play with color. Six colors are used to create the rows of rectangles. We will be sewing the quilt from start to finish in this class including; learning to cut fabric with a rotary cutter, piece rectangles, tie, hand or machine quilt your blanket and bind the edges. In order to finish your quilt during the workshop you will need to do work outside of class time. This class is beginner friendly.

Supplies Needed:  1/3 yard of six colors of fabric (you will need more fabric if you want to make a larger quilt then 60x46”), batting, backing (3 yards OR 3 7/8 yards if directional) & binding fabric (1/2 Yard) (you wont need the batting, binding or backing fabric until the second class), Bobbin (please purchase these at Home Ec if you are using our machines) thread, rotary cutter and a *basic Sewing kit (thread, seam ripper, marking pen, pins, scissors).

Cancellation Policy

Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class.   If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class. Otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
