Knitting: Sweet Cabled Mitts
With Karen Carcia
Thursdays October 5, October 12, AND October 19, 6-7:30
$65 (pattern included) + supplies
Get ready for our colder months by knitting mittens. In this class we’ll be making elegant, cabled mittens designed by Maria Fiske. If you’ve never cabled before, you’ll be astonished at just how easy it is. If you’ve never made mittens, this class is for you, too! This pattern is easy enough for someone working in the round for the first time or for advanced knitters who want a relaxing knit with some thoughtful touches. Come cast on with us!
Supplies Needed: 200 yards worsted weight yarn, US 4 / 3.5mm double point needles (or size needed to obtain gauge of 20 sts / 4” with your yarn), stitch markers, tapestry needle, a smaller cable needle (for US 4 / 3.5 mm or smaller recommended).
Note: a light to medium colored yarn will work best both for learning cables and showing off the pattern.
You will receive 15% off all supplies you purchase for class!
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class. Otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
