The Joanie Top pattern features a camp collar or shawl collar, combining fun, 50s style with the comfort of a modern fit. Choose a classic placket cuff shirt sleeve or breezy short sleeves. With thoughtful details like a fully finished yoke, princess seams in the back, and two hem lengths, Joanie is a timeless closet staple.  This pattern comes in sizes 0-34 and must be purchased HERE and can be printed full size at a copy shop. 

Supplies Needed: PATTERN--This is a PDF pattern only so will need to be purchased HERE.  Please come to class with your printed instructions.  Fabric and supplies per pattern, basic Sewing kit (Pins, scissors, seam ripper, thread and marking pen)

*Please come to class with your fabric washed, dried, ironed, and cut out and ready to sew

*If you come to class with your pattern cut out it maximizes your working time in class. If you need help choosing your fabric or need assistance with cutting we are always happy to help! You are welcome to come into Home Ec Workshop to cut out anytime except when there’s a class going on in the workshop. If you need assistance cutting out your pattern or would like to use our cutting tables, we are happy to help anytime there is not a class in the workshop. Cancellation Policy

Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes but can offer a credit for a future class if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of class. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance in order to get a credit for another class. Otherwise we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
