Have you been wanting to learn to sew, but can't seem to fit our School of Sewing class into your schedule?  This simple tote bag class is the perfect alternative.  You will learn how to thread a machine, cut with a rotary cutter and of course, sew and line a bag (with a pocket and optional gussets)!
This class is perfect for complete beginners or those wanting a little sewing refresh.


Supplies needed:  5/8 yard of exterior fabric, 5/8 of lining 1/4 yard fabric for strap, 1 5/8 yard of Shapeflex interfacing (optional) , Basic Sewing Kit (scissors, marking pen, thread, seam ripper, pins, bobbin -purchased at Home Ec if using our machines), Optional 1.25 yards of 1" or 1.5" wide webbing for strap.

Due to the limited enrollment of our classes, we do not offer refunds on classes you register for but are unable to attend. If you register for a class and can’t come, you must call us 72 hours* in advance of the first meeting to get a credit for another class. Otherwise, we are unable to offer refunds, credit or exchanges—you can, however, spread some joy and send a friend in your place.
