Sewing: Christmas Tree Skirt

* Please come to class with your fabric cut out.  

Make a one-color, two-color or scrappy Tree Skirt to get your tree Santa-ready! 

• ONE-FABRIC TREE SKIRT (2-directional or non-directional fabric recommended) - 3 yards

• TWO-FABRIC TREE SKIRT (2-directional or non-directional fabric recommended) - 1½  yards of 2 different fabrics 

• SCRAPPY TREE SKIRT - ⅓ yd of 16 different fabrics

• All views will need 3 yards backing fabric (perfect use for scraps or muslin), 60" square batting or old blanket/quilt, 1/2" double fold bias tape (approx 10.5 yard)

*If you come to class with your pattern cut out it maximizes your working time in class. If you need help choosing your pattern size or need assistance with cutting we are always happy to help! You are welcome to come in to Home Ec Workshop to cut out anytime except when there’s a class going on in the workshop.If you need assistance Elizabeth works Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 2-6pm, and is happy to help. If that day doesn’t work for you the rest of the staff is very knowledgeable, kind and happy to help too. We also offer Open Sew classes which are another great option if you need assistance. You can find out when the next one is coming up in our class listings. 

Supplies Needed:  Fabric and supplies per pattern, *basic Sewing kit (thread, pins, seam ripper, marking pen)
