After School of Sewing: Shirt No. 1

Sewing: Shirt No.1
With Alisa Weinstein
Sunday, March 9th, 1-4:30

$75 + supplies (pattern included)

New to crafting clothing? Shirt No.1 is a good place to start. In this class you will learn how to layout and cut from a pattern. You will also make and attach a bias tape facing to neatly finish the customized neckline.  This short-sleeved top is satisfying to stitch. It's most flattering in light weight fabrics and a variety of prints. A perfectly loose-fitting piece to wear all spring and summer.  Pattern sizing XS-5X

*PLEASE WASH, DRY AND IRON YOUR FABRIC BEFORE CLASS!*

Supplies Needed: Basic Sewing Kit (coordinating thread, a marking pen, pins, hand sewing needle, scissors, and a seam ripper).

Materials (as per the pattern): 1.5 yards (XS-L, full bust 32”-41”); 1 ¾ yards (XL-4X, full bust 44”-53”); 2 yards (5X, full bust 56”) of 45” wide cotton lawn or voile, light-weight linen, rayon or natural fiber blend. If desired, additional ½ yard or fat quarter of contrasting fabric for bias tape.

You will receive 15% off all supplies purchased for this class.
