Workshop
$6/hour/ person.
Purchase a pre-paid time card for 10 hours of workshop time and the rate goes down to $5/hour.
The workshop offers:
- Janome sewing machines
- serger (for an additional $2 thread fee)
- industrial steam iron
- cutting tables and work surfaces
- Olfa rotary cutters, a self-healing mat and clear plastic rulers
- Gingher and Fiskar scissors for fabric and paper
- pins
- seam rippers
- measuring tape
- hem marker
- tailor’s chalk (or bring/purchase your own Mark B Gone pen)
- cone thread (for an additional $1 thread fee) or bring/purchase your own Gutermann thread
- utility sink
- padded screen printing table
- $5 additional cost to shoot a screen with our light box
- ink and dye colors for screenprinting on fabric and paper (75 cents/print)
- Emulsion-coated screens can be purchased for $12 – $16 or rented for $8
- 1 1/4″ button maker (button and magnet making supplies available, but not included)
