Our Baker is Sugar Lovin’ Mama, Heidi Anderson. As she fancies, Sugar Lovin’ Mama surprises us each week with several of her made-from-scratch delights including the best buttercream frosted cupcakes in Iowa City, real peanut butter cookies and Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookies, scrumptious brownies, gooey caramel bars, chewy scotcharoos, and “healthy” granola bars to name a few of the regulars in addition to her “in-season” selections like apple turnovers or pumkin bars.
Saturdays, starting at 10 AM, is Knitter’s Breakfast. Come early to put your name on a piece of her spinach, feta, sundried tomato, spring onion quiche, sweet potato breakfast casserole, blueberry coffee cake with vanilla icing or jam-filled scones.
Come eat, drink, chat, hang out, and craft in community.
