DYEING BASICS: START TO FINISH
Fees: $75, plus a supply fee of $8
Dye primer & safety, mixing dyes and thickeners, painting & low water immersion dyeing, steaming, rinsing & washing techniques. All the little tricks of the trade not covered in shorter sessions. Focus will be on learning rather than beautiful finished products. Taught by local fiber artist Astrid Hilger Bennett.
Bring: old clothes, rubber gloves, dustmask, plastic bag.
