Knitting and Juggling Camp

Mon, Wed, Fri, July 26, 28 & 30 (three-part class)

Learn to knit and juggle at the same time! Just kidding, but we will learn how to knit a set of bean bags and how to juggle with them. We will also screen print shirts that say “I can knit and juggle.” Bring a plain T-shirt to print on because you’ll want to show the world how cool you are!

Ages 8 and older.

Kids Screenprinting

Kids Screenprinting: Cards, T-Shirts, and Softies

1 to 3 pm

Wed. & Fri., July 14 & 16 (two-part class)

Spend an afternoon drawing images that will be turned into silkscreens and learning how to print with cut stencils. The next day students will use their silkscreen to print their drawing on t-shirts, cards and a sewn stuffed pillow or toy.

Learn how to make woven bridges on your own loom that you will be able to bring home with you to work on future projects. Design and create armatures to support your bridge.

Puppetry and Bookmaking Class

Saturdays, July 17 & 24 (two-part class)

Students will create beautiful puppets that are sewn into the pages of a fabric book. They will learn how to structure and illustrate their own stories to coincide with the puppets.

Ages 6 and up (for adults and/or kids)

Art On the Go Carry Along Portfolio

Students will learn how to use the sewing machine to sew a portfolio sized, carry along case to store their pencils, pens, scissors, drawings, etc..They will also be able to use the case as a surface to work on while in the car or out and about town.
