Tatting with Sandy

Saturdays, August 21 and 28 (two-part class)
This class will teach you the basics of classic shuttle tatting, which is a form of lace making. Some of the skills you will learn are chains, rings, reverse work and locking joints. You will receive an instructional handout with illustrations and patterns for two projects-a pillowcase edging and a medallion as well as see the latest in Celtic tatting designs.

DIY Nesting Dolls

With guest instructors Amber and Kelly from Industrial Glitter
Make your own set of wooden nesting dolls using materials from the extensive collection of Industrial Glitter including paint, modge podge and many scraps of fabric and fantastic paper we have collected over the years. Students are welcome to bring their own stash as well!

Sew PJ Bottoms
Learn how to cut out a pattern and sew a pair of PJ bottoms on the machine. Ages 8 and older.
$25 + fabric, pattern included.
Crochet Camp
Learn how to crochet and dye yarn in fun colors with Kool-Aid. Then we’ll crochet a stuffed toy or pouch. Age 5 and older.

Knitting and Juggling Camp
11 am to 1 pm
Mon, Wed, Fri, July 26, 28 & 30 (three-part class)
Learn to knit and juggle at the same time! Just kidding, but we will learn how to knit a set of bean bags and how to juggle with them. We will also screen print shirts that say “I can knit and juggle.” Bring a plain T-shirt to print on because you’ll want to show the world how cool you are!
Ages 8 and older.
