Erick Wolfmeyer: THE ROAD HOME
You are invited!

THE ROAD HOME
an evening of stunning visuals and storytelling
presented by quilter Erick Wolfmeyer
Friday, May 27 at 7 p.m. @ home ec. workshop
After completing his first quilt in 1998 with the help of a pattern, Erick would spend the next 13 years creating original designs of his own. In “The Road Home,” Erick embarks on a journey to mend early losses, and along the way discovers quilting as a path to beauty and meaning. He explores his inspirations, which while rooted in traditional quilts, range from architecture, nature, and current events to spirituality, literature, and memory. “The Road Home” celebrates quilting as a fitting metaphor for a life, well-lived.
Erick’s quilts have sold to collectors throughout the US, and have been featured in Architectural Digest, The Quilt Life, and the AQS book, Men & the Art of Quilting. He currently lives and works in Iowa City, Iowa. More information can be found at www.ewolfmeyerquilts.com.
