$30, approx. 2 yards woven cotton fabric

Make a flattering & comfortable fitting skirt that will curve around your curves. Learn how to draft a pattern based on your measurements and sew a skirt you can work and run around in all summer long.

Thursday, May 23, 6 – 8 p.m.
$35 + supplies

Learn how to neatly insert a zipper and make a zipper pouch using the adorable Color Block Pouch pattern by V and Co. We love them and know you will too! This pattern is perfect for combining all of your favorite fabrics and comes in three sizes. This is a great class for beginners.

From the book, One Yard Wonders, this fabulous pet bed is constructed out of a series of trapezoids. It has a flat bottom and deep sides that your furry little baby will love to snuggle up in.

$40, sampler included. 

Please bring hoop, needle and floss of your choice.

This is the perfect class to try your hand at embroidery (…or fine tune it!). We will be using the Original Sampler designed by Rebecca of Dropcloth Samplers! You will learn a collection of lovely stitches including classic stitches, but also some new and exciting stitches like spider webs, bullion knots and Algerian Eyes.

Join us once or every month for the new Block of the Month series.

For this playful block we will learn two different appliqué techniques! You will make a single block with different sized dots that can be used by itself in the BOM sampler, or for a larger quilt top if you make more later.

Participants MUST have a copy of “Block Party: The Modern Quilting Bee” by Carlton and Lejneiks, which is available through the shop.
